I have one to sell!
Absolutely lovely 1941 Playball card of Detroit Hall of Fame infielder Charles Gehringer signed across the card. Very well-preserved the card comes from one of the more attractive full-color prewar sets and certainly the most beautiful issue of the 1940s. The card itself grades approximately VG/EX with minimal wear no creasing and slightly soft corners and edges. The signature is dark and bold clearly legible as Gehringer had a beautiful signature.Compiling a .320 batting average and .404 lifetime on base percentage in a 19-year career that was spent entirely with the Tigers Gehringer was a power-hitting second baseman who drove in 100 runs seven times in his career. Winner of the 1937 MVP award he was a team leader and remains a Tigers hero today twenty years after his passing. Authenticated and encapsulated by SGC Authentic.
