With each issue containing batting tips player information and stats ads and photos each of these books were designed to captivate the imagination of young baseball fans - and sell bats. This collection begins with the 1940 issue (with Joe DiMaggio on the cover) and concludes with 1978. The "Famous Slugger Yearbooks" are an incredible window into the stars of each season a historic journey through the game with substantial interesting content and excellent display value.
