Printed scorecard from the Alameda (CA) Elks All-Star "Majors" vs. All-Star "Minors" game played at Oakland"s Coast League Park on October 30 1938. The cover features photos of major leaguers Joe DiMaggio (HOF) Ernie Lombardi (HOF) and Dick Bartell and has been signed on the cover by Dom DiMaggio Athletics infielder Dario Lodigiani and Spokane Hawks shortstop Bernie De Viveros. The Elks" charity games were an annual tradition pitting major league players against their PCL counterparts for charity. This scorecard is in fair to good condition with considerable wear and a tear along the bottom that would be consistent with being in a fan"s possession for the entirety of a baseball game and then subsequently handed to several players for autographs. Still it displays particularly well and is an excellent addition to any Pacific Coast League collection.
