The American Caramel E90-1 issue is sometimes referred to as the T206 of caramel issues, and has been dubbed "The Kraken" in some quarters due to the challenges of collecting the 120 subjects found within. The set was issued with a stick of caramel that, as one might imagine, led to condition issues which plague the set. This gorgeous example exhibits some light staining on the front, particularly along the bottom and left edges.

Bold, beautiful colors have stayed true on this 115-year-old card, giving it wonderful eye appeal. If not for rounded corners and the centering being west on the canvas, this example would have surely graded higher.

Bobby Wallace is one of the forgotten Hall of Famers whose entire career was played in the Deadball Era, meaning most of his offensive career statistics were long surpassed in the record books. However, in his 25-year career, he was able to amass more than 2,300 hits (including 391 doubles and 143 triples), score 1,057 runs, and drive in 1,121. SGC has only graded 11 Wallaces higher than the VG/EX 4 given to this example.
