Measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" this outstanding photo depicts then-retired Hall of Famer Ty Cobb (hopefully) at the end of a hunt draped in his scores for the day rifle in hand. Utilized as a Christmas Card Cobb has signed and inscribed the card in black ink. The card was sent to "Senator Mahoney " which could refer to US Senator Joseph O'Mahoney a Senator from Wyoming. There have also been State Senators named Mahoney however thus we cannot be completely certain of the intended recipient of the card. The signature however presents very strongly a very personal document of one of the greatest players to ever live after the conclusion of his legendary career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
