One of baseball's more underrated players Orestes Minoso was a star in the Cuban Leagues the Negro Leagues and the Major Leagues and by playing in a 1980 game became only the second player in the history of the game to play in five decades and was the fourth oldest to play in the majors. Minoso collected 1 963 hits in 17 major league seasons with a lifetime .298 batting average and played four seasons in the Cuban and Negro Leagues prior to making his debut with the Indians in 1949. This card from the condition-sensitive Caramelo Deportivo issue has been graded PR 1 by PSA due to overall creasing and wear consistent with the issue which was printed on lightweight paper and meant to be affixed to an album. The image quality is strong and well-centered an excellent card of a player who by all rights belongs in the Hall of Fame.
