NOTE: Our original description of this card mistakenly listed the population data of the 1925 Exhibits Ruth. While the grade and description of the card remains the same the 1926 example is orders of magnitude more scarce than the 1925. We have sent an errata email to all the current bidders on this card to advise them of the revised population data listed below. Babe Ruth is the key card in just about every set in which he appears and the 1926 Exhibits issue is no exception. Some Ruth cards of course are better representative of The Babe than others and this example ranks high on the list depicting the Sultan of Swat following a popup off his bat legs still in motion at the end of his legendary swing. Graded EX 5 by PSA this card is quite exceptional certainly stronger in appearance than most Exhibit Ruths we have encountered. Slight corner chipping is the card's only real flaw; even the reverse is clean with little toning or wear. The highest-graded 1926 Exhibits Ruth assessed by either PSA or SGC this is simply a spectacular card one of the Babe's more desirable pre-1930s issues.
