Very clean "colored" S74 silk featuring Hall of Famer John McGraw graded EX 60 by SGC. Featuring a Turkey Red reverse this attractive fabric "silk" was issued as a premium with Turkey Red cigarettes in 1911 (similar silks were also issued with Old Mill Helmar and Red Sun brand cigarettes) and were available in a variety of colors. This example a gold color is a higher-grade example as the silks are often found frayed and worn and more frequently torn away from their paper backing. An outstanding example colorful and bold with virtually no discernable wear.
