Significant piece of baseball "currency" featuring the 1889 Chicago White Stockings as advertised by Heilman's Fine Footwear. Grading in GOOD condition the bill does feature some wrinkles and folds along with some minor tears but displays extremely well. The front of the piece bears the likenesses of Al Spalding and Cap Anson while the reverse bears the likenesses of members of the 1889 White Stockings including Anson Tom Burns Bob Pettit (not on the 1889 team) Ned Williamson Dell Darling Tom Daly Silver Flint Mark Baldwin Marty Sullivan George Van Haltren Jimmy Ryan and Fred Pfeffer. Conspicuously absent from the artwork for some reason is outfielder Hugh Duffy. Baseball currency is an interesting promotional tool and certainly a very attractive and display-worthy collectible.
