I have one to sell!
The T206 Walter Johnson "Hands at Chest" variation is one of the more expensive cards within the set. More often than not examples are sold individually that quickly rise to levels that are unaffordable to the average collector. Sadly lower-grade examples are typically included as part of a larger group of cards also unaffordable. That"s why we have elected to break out some of the key Hall of Fame T206 players from the Rudy Strejc Collection - to provide collectors with opportunities to obtain collector-grade T206s that still boast stronger appearances at more affordable prices. Here we have an "AUTHENTIC" example of the Johnson pitching pose thusly graded due to significant border trimming and a corner clip. Sadly many of the tobacco cards in the Strejc Collection were trimmed after Mr. Strejc"s passing by a well-meaning relative who out of a desire to preserve the cards" condition trimmed the borders to help them to better fit into plastic sheets. Despite the trimming the card presents well with a clean Old Mill reverse. From the Rudy Strejc Collection.Population DataSGC Population: 10 total graded 2 at this level 8 higherPSA Population: 14 total graded 1 at this level 13 higher**Note that PSA just recently began classifying their T206s by back variety and thus there are significantly more Walter Johnson "Hands at Chest" poses graded as "Unknown back " some of which may have Old Mill reverses.
