Gorgeous personal check signed in 1958 by Hall of Fame pitcher and 300-game winner Lefty Grove. The check written to Grove's telephone company for $11.34 was signed boldly by Grove in ballpoint pen. Grove elected to the Hall of Fame in 1947 was ranked #23 on the Sporting News list of baseball's greatest players the #2 left-handed pitcher behind only Warren Spahn. The check is simply gorgeous a vintage check with a vivid legible signature unencumbered by cancellations or bank markings.
