Known to be one of the most prolific signers of all the vintage Hall of Famers Lou Boudreau was a veteran of the memorabilia circuit prior to his 2001 passing. His autograph is by no means scarce. However presented here is a vintage Boudreau signed and mailed on August 3 1949 when Bourdeau was a player-manager for the 3rd place Cleveland Indians. On the date this postcard was mailed Cleveland lost at home to the Philadelphia A's 2-0 with Boudreau going hitless in four at bats. The postcard is in very good condition the signature extremely strong. The reverse which we are not showing in an effort not to publicize the address of the deceased collector has some discoloration from being mounted in a scrapbook with photo corners but is otherwise unscathed save for postal markings and a slight crease.
I have one to sell!
