In addition to being a major league pitcher "Doc" White was also a dentist and a songwriter publishing four songs with his co-writer Ring Lardner. Until 1968 White held a major league record with 45 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. This card a stunning high-grade example with incredible sharpness and boldness with just a slight off-centered image keeping it out of an even higher holder is one of the highest grade T206s ever to be graded by SGC. In fact of nearly 85 000 T206 cards to have been graded by that company just 18 individual cards have been graded higher. In addition just 27 cards have attained a grade of 92. This places this White card in the top .05% of all T206 cards to have ever been graded by SGC.A true condition rarity and an exceptional addition to any collection.Population DataSGC Population: 50 total graded 1 at this level 0 higherPSA Population: 51 total graded 0 at this level 0 higher**PSA has graded an additional 112 White cards classified with an "unknown" back.
