Gorgeous bold and well-centered this high-grade example of Harry Steinfeldt"s T206 portrait card boasts particularly large borders (a "jumbo" Steinfeldt?). It is also the only example out of 280 Harry Steinfeldt cards (both the portrait and "with bat" variation) to grade this high. High-grade T206 cards are very difficult to obtain and as the prime examples of the most popular prewar set continue to outpace the majority of the hobby market in terms of prices realized. Graded examples continue to sell for unbelievable prices particularly when it is the sole example in the holder.Population DataSGC Population: 66 total graded 1 at this level 0 higherPSA Population: 51 total graded 0 at this level 0 higher*Note that PSA has graded an additional 102 examples of this card classified with "unknown back " due to only recently beginning to classify T206 cards by their back varieties. It is likely that some of those has a Piedmont back. Of those 102 examples three have graded NM/MT 8 with none higher.
