Interesting collection of 19th Century baseball-related ephemera including several die-cut baseball figures two rare tobacco tags and a baseball-themed playing card. Collection includes: 1) Two 1888 R&S Die Cuts. St. Louis and Chicago players these small color lithographed die cuts were issued in 1888 and intended to be pasted into scrapbooks. Both in apparent VG condition the St. Louis player has a tear at its base (but is intact) that reduces its technical grade. 2) Two scarce baseball-themed tobacco tags likely from the late 19th Century depicting St. Louis and Boston players. These small (3/4") tags are rarely found intact and are rarely found in multiples. 3) One baseball-themed playing card late 1800s manufactured by the Card Fabrique Co of Middletown OH depicting a royal flush on the reverse. Good condition with creasing on top and bottom and edge wear consistent with being a playing card of some sort.A very unusual and interesting grouping of late 19th Century baseball-themed items.
