A left-winger, Jimmy Gardiner played amateur and professional hockey from 1899-15 predominantly in Montreal. As a professional he was a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Montreal Wanderers of both 1908 and 1910 and was heavily involved with founding of the Montreal Canadiens. A Hockey Hall of Famer, he was inducted in 1963. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Gardiner, #36 in the set, exhibits rounding at the corners with a areas of chipping at the edges. Some age-related spotting and discoloration appears in the dark areas around Gardiner's head and a few white specks of surface loss are apparent within top half of the image. Reverse remains postally unused with some visible toning present. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA it remains one of only 10 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.

Please note: our printed catalog displays "RC" in the title indicating rookie card status. This is in-fact considered a second year card for Gardiner, consistent with his C55 issue.
