John Weyhing, brother of fellow ballplayer Gus, played portions of just two seasons in the majors before tuberculosis claimed him at age 20. This high-quality image shows something of his batting form from the left side, as John was indeed a southpaw.

The PSA GOOD 2(MK) grade shows an excellent image with honest wear all around, likely when handled and appreciated by an earlier collector. The centering looks great and its borders are fuller than average, making for a card that presents better than almost anything at low grades. A small ink mark on its reverse appears to be why PSA added a qualifier, though it does nothing to impact the photo. The combined population reports show this one example, making its superior image an excellent bonus should this be our best available option!
