Card #330-5 of "Cannonball" Morris boasts a strong image, above-average borders, and clean surfaces apart from one smudge on its reverse that fails to impact the player itself. The dark cap and pants worn by Morris stand out more than most Old Judge uniform pieces, with details clear enough to see how some players wore hip pads to reduce injuries on the basepaths and when fielding line drives.
Morris's pitching skills led to a half-dozen N172 poses, all with Pittsburgh, and none of them are easy to locate, as the SGC population report shows just one example of this pose encapsulated, with one more at a lower grade recorded by PSA! A true rarity befitting an excellent player for his time and card for today.
