Historically important Rawlings Official Major League (Selig) baseball, signed and inscribed on the sweet spot by George "Shotgun" Shuba. The inscription reads as follows:

The inscription refers, of course, to Shuba's greeting of Jackie Robinson at home plate after Jackie homered in the first integrated professional game. A full year before Robinson's major league debut, he homered with Shuba in the on deck circle for the Montreal Royals. Shuba greeted Robinson with a congratulatory handshake, photos of which became symbolic of baseball's integration for decades to come.
