Henry "Hunkey" Hines reaches to catch a high ball in his dark St. Louis jersey, as a member of the short-lived St. Louis Whites, who played about 40 games in 1888 before disbanding. Hines would go on to suit up for at least a dozen other franchises at various pro levels, including the Brooklyn Bridgegrooms in 1985, who picked up that moniker because several of their players got married in the same season.
The SGC GOOD 2 grade reflects a hazy front, edge wear, and marks on each surface. It's tricky to measure the combined population for this pose, beyond knowing that relatively few exist for its #226-3 catalog number. As with almost any Old Judge card, if you can find a better one, you should buy it!
