Four original photos from the personal albums of former Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher, Mr. Clyde King. Collection includes: 1) Six Brooklyn Dodgers pitchers posed on the top step of their dugout. Each player is sporting the unique white satin uniforms introduced by the club in 1944 and worn exclusively during night games at Ebbets Field until 1948. Among them are:Leroy Pfund, Vic Lombardi, Tom Seats, Cy Buker, Clyde King, and Ernie Rudolph. 2) Clyde King, the "Fireman" according to notations on verso, sporting his 1944-48 home satin uniform at Ebbets Field. 3) 1952 Dodgers Celebrate their National League pennant. Handwritten notation on verso attributes the image to the Dodgers' official photographer, Barney Stein. 4) Battery of Clyde King and Roy Campanella are congratulated by teammates Billy Cox and Carl Erskine sometime in 1951. Credit stamping from Barney Stein on verso. All four photos measure approx. 8" x 10" with trace evidence of removal from an album with sticky pages on reverse.
