First issued as one-card packs and called their "gimmick penny baseball series," Double Headers remind veteran collectors of the 1911 Mecca "Double Folder" cards with two players on a foldable panel. Unfolded, these measure 2 1/16" x 4 7/8" and show handdrawn players against a stadium background. When folded, part of each reverse image overlaps to share the front's legs and feet. Place cards side-by-side in numerical order to see this set's backgrounds form a continuous stadium scene.

This SGC NM-MT 8 shows Joe Frazier/Don Mossi at their best, with Frazier's image dead center on the canvas. Edges are crisp and square corners show the slightest of touches.
