At the conclusion of the 1955 season, the New York Yankees set off for a three-week, 16-game tour of Japan. Thousands of Japanese baseball fans turned out to see the legendary Yankees and their star, Mickey Mantle, play a series of games against Japanese teams and groups of all-stars. Mantle, first injured and then later returning to the States with his wife (who was about to give birth), disappointed, but Bob Cerv batted .300 with 5 home runs during the tour, Andy Carey clubbed 7 round-trippers, and the Yankees won every game.

Presented here is a 40-page tour program, featuring an illustrated photo of Mickey Mantle on the cover. Interior pages contain photos of American baseball teams and Yankee players. Despite being in technically POOR condition due to creasing, some spots of paper loss, foxing, and a tear through about half the pages at the lower-left edge, the presentation is colorful and attractive, an unusual document of the Yankee dynasty.
