Autographed 1949 Bowman of sharp Hall of Fame hitter George Kell, signed in blue ink pen. He earned his third of six straight All-Star seasons in 1949, winning a batting title in the process. The VG-EX 4 grade reflects its slight corner rounding and eastward shift in the red ink layer. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, the signature graded MINT 9. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. The population report shows just two signed cards with higher technical grades!
