Autographed 1949 Bowman of Athletics pitcher Carl Scheib, signed in black ink pen. The PSA EX 5 grade reflects its excellent all-around shape, with centering a touch northeast and clean surfaces on each side. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, the signature rating MINT 9. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. The population report shows just five signed examples, with no higher technical grades! Scheib passed at age 91 in 2018.
