Autographed 1949 Bowman of All-Star outfielder Tommy Holmes, signed in blue ink pen. It presents with slightly rounded corners and minor edge waves, perhaps handcut, hence the AUTHENTIC grade. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. The population report shows just five signed examples, all with this AUTHENTIC grade. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. Tommy passed in 2008 at age 91.
