Autographed 1949 Bowman of outfielder Babe Martin, signed in blue ballpoint. Its PSA GOOD 2 grade reflects rounded corners and surface toning, with some edge bumps on the reverse. He netted this card on the strength of just six MLB games for Boston, in between two stints with St. Louis. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with a grade of MINT 9 to the signature. The population report shows just two signed examples and this is the highest with a technical grade! Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. Babe passed in 2013 at age 93.
