Pair of 24" x 26"cotton bandannas, dating roughly to 1910. Both contain the same illustrative image of a football player in Ohio State uniform, the text on the first designed to welcome visiting teams, the text of the second celebrating homecoming. Both appear in remarkable condition.  The "Welcome Visitors" banner has been secured to a cardboard backing with cellophane which is taped to the reverse. A small tear in the cellophane at the lower right corner has enabled us to ascertain that the piece is, indeed, made of cloth, and does not appear to be affixed to the cardboard.  The "Homecoming" banner is framed, somewhat contemporary, and appears to be in EX condition, though the frame prevents us from examining the edges or reverse. Two bandannas total, both scarce and desirable.
