Lot Description  

c.1960's Type I photo of NBA legend, Willis Reed, of the New York Knicks. Reed is pictured in uniform at an outdoor court, quite likely the location of his summer camp for kids, known as the Willis Reed All-Star Camp in Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A two-time NBA Champion, the future Hall of Famer (enshrined in 1982) would also be named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary team in 2021. Crystal clear photo of the 6' 10" Reed remains bright throughout, with crop markings applied in grease pencil within the white borders. A few areas of unobtrusive toning on verso with additional grease pencil markings in red. Measures 8" x 10" overall. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
