Incorrectly identified in our printed catalog as a Philadelphia Athletics collectible, interesting 1889 letter from Phillies secretary and treasurer John Rogers to one William Moon of Morrisvile, PA, chastising him for not having removed the dead trees from around the Philadelphia Base Ball Grounds. Rogers signed the letter in pencil, additionally making a parenthetical note in the body of the letter. The letter is typewritten onto attractive Philadelphia letterhead, which is printed in two colors (blue and green), measuring approximately 5 3/4" x 8 3/4".  Accompanied by two postmarked envelopes, one from April of 1889 and the second from October.  Three pieces total.
