Dodgers manager and Hall of Famer Wilbert Robinson observes his team from the sidelines on this generously-graded H801-9 Globe Stores card. Despite significant surface wear SGC saw fit to assign a VG 40 grade possibly due to the card's limited corner and edge wear and overall clarity of image despite the wear. Cards from the 1916 Globe Stores issue are of course desirable regardless of grade; so few examples are known that collectors generally cannot afford to be picky.
