Green-Joyce was a small chain of dry-goods stores (mostly textiles and clothing) based in Columbus OH around the turn of the century. In 1916 they printed their advertisement on the backs of blank-backed M101-4 cards (as did many other retailers around the country). The 200-card Green-Joyce issue is today among the rarest of all the M101-4 related issues with cards from the set selling for significant multiples of their blank-backed cousins on the infrequent occasions that such cards become available. Graded FAIR 20 by SGC due to overall wear consistent with the grade this card of Giants shortstop Art Fletcher still presents particularly well with a clean image little corner and edge wear and most importantly a clean back. An outstanding example of a very rare card. Population Data SGC Population: 2 total graded 1 at this level 0 higherPSA Population: none graded
