Lot Description  

Perhaps due to his unusual name, "Silver" Flint is one of the most popular of all the non-Hall of Famers of the 19th Century among contemporary collectors.  The excellent catcher was a member of the Chicago White Stockings for ten years. Despite the lower technical grade of this 1889 example, the image is exceptionally strong with outstanding detail.
