Heavy staining on the reverse that has seemingly ugly bled through to the front somewhat, this card of Jocko Fields is otherwise fantastic. Serving as the plate specimen for The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company, the image quality is truly remarkable, wit tremendous contrast. The stain on the reverse is likely due to an adhesive used to affix the card into a scrapbook; the scrapbook is what is responsible for having preserved the card so well.
