Type I photo of Elvis Presley, captured on March 22, 1960 as The King traveled from TN to Miami, FL to tape a special episode of The Frank Sinatra Timex Show. Known as Welcome Home Elvis the special was Elvis' first televised appearance following his military service in West Germany, with the superstar performing alongside Sinatra's daughter, and Sinatra himself, before plugging his new film, G.I. Blues. 7.25" x 10" photo exhibits general handling wear present in the form of gentle creasing throughout, though largely only visible when tilted towards a light source. Moderately toned verso includes March 22, 1960 date stamping, along with several other date stampings from as late as 2004. Credit stamping from Miami Herald staff photographer, Doug Kennedy, has been applied at center of verso along with multiple handwritten notations.
