I have one to sell!
Long considered to be the key to the T207 set the card of St. Louis pitcher Louis Lowdermilk has been highly desirable due to the perception of extreme rarity. Said rarity pointed out by Jefferson Burdick in the original American Card Catalog in the 1930s is actually one of the more rare in a very complicated set with a multitude of cards that exhibit rarity in different degrees. Based on the biographical information on the card reverse this card may have actually been issued later in 1912 and it along with 49 other cards found with Broadleaf and Cycle backs can be considered the prewar equivalent of "high numbers." Despite the presence of a number of other rarities and key Hall of Famers the card of Louis Lowdermilk has long been recognized as the set's most important card and in fact is often listed among the most desirable cards in the entire hobby. Population Data PSA Population: 29 total graded 5 at this level 17 higher* SGC Population: 12 total graded 3 at this level 2 higher *NOTE that PSA does not differentiate between T207 back varieties so their population report for this card includes both Broadleaf and Cycle reverses as well as cards with no advertisement. The SGC population report contains data only for the Broadleaf back.
