Scarce blank-backed T207 card of Otis Crandall clearly hand-cut and likely never intended for commercial distribution. Print anomalies such as this are very popular among collectors of tobacco cards and this is one of the more attractive examples we have seen particularly of a blank-backed T207. T207 cards have a gloss coating on the surface that is susceptible for cracking and chipping. Hand-cut cards not intended for distribution tend to exhibit a multitude of condition issues notably the cracking and chipping associated with that gloss. This example is clean and despite the presence of some chipping and cracking it is not as pronounced as is typical for such cards. A strong example.
