The M101-2 Sporting News supplements issue is growing in popularity as collectors realize their scarcity (and now that there are grading company holders large enough to fit them). Virtually all grade low, as the oversized supplements are subject to all sorts of condition flaws, simply due to the difficulty in protecting them over the years.  This example, issued with the March 24, 1910 edition of the publication, features the slender Athletics manager Connie Mack, leaning against a bannister, wearing his trademark suit and a straw hat. Graded POOR 1 by Beckett, the supplement does exhibit a number of flaws and surface abrasions, but is quite presentable for the grade.
