Fabulous Type I team photo depicting the 1951 Brooklyn Dodgers who came within a single game of capturing the 1951 National League pennant. Shot at Ebbets Field, color line pioneer Jackie Robinson appears third from the right in the top row along with five other future Hall of Famers in Roy Campanella, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, and Dick Williams. "1952" is written within the bottom border in ballpoint but this appears to be in error as each player is sporting the special patch worn by all NL teams in 1951 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the National League. Virtually flawless overall condition with verso showing trace evidence of removal from a photo album with sticky pages. Official Brooklyn Dodgers photographer, Bareny Stein's credit stamping has been applied along the bottom edge. A fresh to the hobby example recently discovered within the collection of former Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher, Clyde King. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
