Superb restrike depicting Frank "Home Run" Baker of the Philadelphia Athletics following through on his swing during the 1910's. Developed directly from the original negative and issued in 1929, the photo remains vintage despite falling outside of PSA's approximate two year window necessary for Type I status. A clean, fresh to the hobby 6" x 8" example that has survived in fantastic overall condition, complete with full paper caption on reverse. This very image appears on Frank Baker's extremely rare 1911 Stevens Firearms card, available elsewhere in this auction. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type II photo by PSA/DNA.
