One of just three premiums issued by Baseball Magazine in 1919 this is perhaps the most interesting featuring the Chicago White Sox team later accused of throwing the season's World Series against the Reds. Considerably damaged and trimmed the premium still presents well despite tearing creasing and repair with clear tape. One tear from top to bottom just misses Shoeless Joe Jackson and sadly rips Buck Weaver right in half. The photo however includes all the key names including all eight players that would later be banned. Perhaps the only 1919 issue to feature the entire group of players banned for the most infamous of all baseball scandals.
