Offered via a 1916 promotion by The Sporting News, these M101-4s are blank backed and feature the well-known Felix Mendelsohn images which launched several issues in the World War 1 era.

This example of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins has the aforementioned back looking incredibly good. The front has some issues, unfortunately, mainly with some surface abrasions and light creasing. Though the corners and edges are nicer than the grade, centering is west on the canvas and further explains the technical grade.
