Issued in glassine envelopes with packages of Helmar Cigarettes in 1911 the T332 Helmar Stamps is a unique and colorful issue with a checklist numbering as many as 181 with occasional new discoveries constantly updating the checklist. Presented here is an attractive collection of nine Hall of Famers from the issue each beautiful and colorful but each with condition issues keeping the technical grades at the low end of the scale. Collection includes Roger Bresnahan Frank Chance Clark Griffith Johnny Evers Walter Johnson Nap Lajoie Rube Marquard John McGraw and Zach Wheat. Helmar Stamps are particularly interesting cards a bit more obscure than other tobacco issues of the era and quite condition-sensitive due to their fragility. An interesting card type featuring unique colorful stamps measuring just 1 1/8" x 1 3/8".
