Culled from the collection of a hobbyist with an outstanding eye for well-centered attractive cards with lower technical grades and extraordinary eye appeal this card of Hall of Fame second baseman Johnny Evers is one of the nicest midgrade Cracker Jacks we have seen. The brilliant background color practically explodes off the card the cream-colored borders and reverse unblemished by the caramel staining so common with the issue. Given that caramel staining is common enough with 1914 Cracker Jacks that it is often found on graded cards in the VG/EX to EX/MT range it is exceptional to find such an outstanding example at the lower end of the grading scale.
