Handsome tin once housing smoking tobacco by Allen & Ginter. Measuring approximately 4 3/8" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/8", the colorful piece features green, black and gold printing, touting an 1876 award won by the brand. With printing on all four sides plus the top, the piece does experience some chipping and wear, most notably at the front of the lid, likely from repeated opening.  Sturdy lid opens and closes fine, the entire piece retaining its original shape with few dents beyond the aforementioned lid front.
