Dockman & Sons was one of several brands captured in the E92 universe and are difficult to track down today. Issued in 1909, the illustrations from the set are well-rendered and the cards are quite colorful.

This example is a classic wide-angle pose of "Big Six" Christy Mathewson. The golden sunset, light blue clouds and gorgeous green grass set the scene, which features the Giants ace playing catch as he warms up before a game. SGC has given it an Authentic grade due to evidence of trimming along the right border as you view the card horizontally, but this one still has insane eye appeal.

The subject matter, composition, and orientation have always made this a desirable target for Hall-of-Fame and candy card collectors. One look for yourself and it's easy to see why.
