Dockman & Sons was one of several brands captured in the E92 universe and are difficult to track down today. Issued in 1909, the illustrations from the set are well-rendered and the cards are quite colorful.

This example, featuring Pittsburgh's George Gibson, is centered north on the canvas. A diagonal bottom cut, softer corners, and some light soiling especially evident along the bottom border keeps the card from grading even higher than it already has, though the gorgeous background gives this one tremendous eye appeal. This is an extraordinary example seldom seen with this sort of visual appeal.

SGC has only ever graded 42 total examples of this 1909 E92, with only ONE receiving a higher grade than the EX 5 offered here of George Gibson.
