The most valuable and highly desired signature in the hobby today, Babe Ruth single-signed baseballs continue to skyrocket in value today despite their plentiful nature.  Vintage sweet spot signatures are particularly sought after due to their outstanding display characteristics.  As a result of the constantly surging demand, Ruth-signed baseballs have become extraordinarily expensive, with even flawed baseballs reaching into the five figure range.

Presented here is one of the few remaining "affordable" Ruth balls with a sweet spot signature - an off-brand "Official League Ball," signed in fountain pen by the Great Bambino, on the sweet spot slightly to the left.  Though the ball exhibits moderate but even toning, the red and blue stitches remaining tight and creating an attractive frame for the signature, the autograph itself has faded considerably.  Despite that, it is still legible, the author of the signature unmistakeable.  Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
