Gorgeous Spalding Official NL (Frick) baseball, signed by 23 members of the 1936 National League Champion New York Giants.  Highlighted by Hall of Famer Mel Ott, who left a bold, visible signature on the east panel, the baseball is clean and only lightly toned.  Signatures exhibit varying degrees of fading, but are largely identifiable and legible.  The signature of Bill Terry has been deemed clubhouse.  The remaining signatures include: Fred Fitzsimmons (ss), Gus Mancuso (ss), Carl Hubbell (HOF), Travis Jackson (HOF), Whitey Whitehead, Mark Koenig, Dick Coffman, Harry Gumbert, Dick Bartell, Harry Danning, Jo-Jo Moore, Eddie Mayo, Mel Ott (HOF), Roy Spencer, Clydell "Slick" Castleman, Kiddo Davis, Frank Gabler, Hank Lieber, Jimmy Ripple, Sam Leslie, Hal Schumacher, Al Smith, and the aforementioned Terry. On the list above, everything from Hank Lieber through Terry exhibit considerably more fading (the entire west panel), the Terry clubhouse signature barely visible.  Regardless, an outstanding prewar team-signed baseball, featuring one of the great Giants teams, who lost in six games to the New York Yankees.  Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
