I have one to sell!
The 1967 Topps Punch-Outs issue is a scarce test issue that was released commercially in and around Maryland in cello packs that contained strips of three perforated cards that were meant to be used in a baseball game. As is the case with many of the 1960s Topps test issues cards from the Punch-Outs series are highly sought after today appealing to many collectors of rarities set completists and type card collectors alike. What we have here is the most extraordinary of examples: one of the highest-graded 1967 Topps Punch-Out cards in existence. Indeed just 7 cards have attained the level of NM/MT+ with any grading company with only six copies grading higher - and just one Hall of Famer. This card featuring Hall of Fame shortstop Luis Aparicio (along with fellow Hall of Famers Al Kaline and Brooks Robinson) is virtually flawless in every way: centered near perfectly with no problems amidst the punch-outs no fading and no surface or edge wear the card"s most extraordinary feature is the diligence with which the edge perforations are not visible. Surely this card is an anomaly in a set where "chads" were designed to be removed youngsters were encouraged to tear away the perforated cards and the heavy stock was susceptible to creases and wrinkles. We will repeat: just six examples of ANY 1967 Topps Punch-Out card has graded higher than this one from any grading company.Of all the interesting and difficult-to-obtain items in this auction this Aparicio is unique: it is a virtually impossible to obtain condition scarcity from an extremely scarce card issue featuring a Hall of Famer to boot. Surely this is not an opportunity that comes along every day.Population DataPSA Population: 2 total graded 0 at this level 0 higherSGC Population: 3 total graded 1 at this level 0 higher
